Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Houston has been fortunate to have a Knights of Columbus Council since the early 1990’s.  Over the years our Knights Council has contributed to numerous charitable causes and does so through fundraising activities like our Lenten season fish fry’s, our Pancake and Tacos breakfasts, and for over a decade — our holiday season tamales sale.  Some of the great causes we’ve supported over the years includes sponsoring seminarians at St. Mary’s Seminary, SVDP and Sister Virginia’s Guayaquil Mission, Catholic brothers and sisters in need, and many more great causes.  The profits we make off of our holiday tamales and chili sales are used to support these and other great causes, and not to benefit our great council of Brother Knights that give their time freely to benefit others.
